Curses!

The last thing that I said before I went to bed last night was, "It should rain soon because I miss the sound of it". At around 4:30am I *do* awaken to the sound of rain.... or close to...
As it turns out our upstairs neighbor had a pipe burst in their bathroom and it went unnoticed until it soaked through our ceiling and flooded the bathroom and hall closet. XD It was a mad dash as Shiloe went upstairs to alert apartment 409 and I pulled all of the furniture (you see my dresser, bookshelves, make up cabinet, etc was housed here) and most importantly BOOKS out of harms way. Logic tells me I had better shut out ALL the lights because there is water dripping off of our ceiling fan/light in the main section of the studio as well as coursing over the exposed wires to all of our electricity in the apartment.
Mmmmmmm 5am water damage clean up in the dark. Those bitches had better compensate by lowering rent this month.
