Thread: SakuraCon 2010

I'm posting this now... so that everyone can start planning now! :P

Sakura-Con 2010 <--linky
Dates: April 2-4
Location: Seattle, WA
Registration: $45 until end of the year / $50 until March / $60 at the door

SeaTac is the closest airport. (Websites are currently showing $260+ roundtrip.)
Allegiant Air is a bit cheaper, but the airport is in Bellingham and about an hour and a half from Seattle. allegiantair.com (I'd be willing to pick up a couple *VIP* TGG peeps from Bellingham though if anyone flies up there instead.) (Website showing around $200. BUT... flights in & out are ONLY Mon/Wed/Sat. That means flying in when Sakuracon starts Saturday ...or coming up on a Wednesday for a 5 day trip. :P)

I'd try to get the timeshare, too. It's across the street from the convention center, so that's a definite plus. And even if we aren't able to get the timeshare, there's a crap ton of hotels around the convention center, too, and not too insanely priced. :)

Sweet. As it gets closer, I can ask a few friends about other events, too. I think they do a picnic every year on the first day.

Also, I'll check out some local parks. Gasworks is one of the popular places to shoot. Steampunk, anyone? :)

It's settled then! I love rain. Even if it's just you me and Mike it'll be amazing. We need someone to document this madness though
