Forgot I saw this one, too!

Not one of Jackie Chan's best, but it was fun seeing Jet Li in a different role!

The American kid was kind of annoying... (He looked like a retarded Shia Lebouf.)

Not one of the best movies I've seen this year, but I'll probably end up buying it when it comes out on dvd. :P

I've actually seen this twice now. Yeah, the Witch was a crazy character in that movie. Found out her actual name in the movie is Ni-Chang from Wikipedia. Reminded me of Sindel from MK3 a bit when she used her hair as a prehensile object. Milia Rage from the GGX series comes to mind as well. Awesome as a villain and got the fighting skills to back it up.

Jackie Chan was decent and so was Golden Sparrow I'll have to say. The way she fought was cool and all...even seeing her play that instrument of hers was cool...I just think they overemphasized her rage @ the Jade Emperor. Talking about herself in the 3rd person was a bit much for me even though I do understand the vengeance bit.

Jet Li did do a good job of playing the different roles he did. It just proves he can be serious, but he can also be funny. I do look forward to seeing his villain role in the 3rd Mummy movie. Gonna be kinda weird w/out Imhotep around though.

Other than that the kid did act like Shia pretty much through the whole movie. What he goes through is good, but the acting not so much since sometimes he just sounded like an idiot. Anyways...that's my say on things. I do like the movie in general and I encourage peeps to go see it. L8r for now.

For the record, in terms of Hair as a weapon, Millia would own Sindel. >_>

I say this as a fighting game expert, having played all of the Mortal Kombats, as well as all of the Guilty Gears.

Millia Rage is the far superior character. But, I am off topic, so, I shall stop here.

I've yet to watch this, actually, although I want to.

Yeah they should have just cast Shia instead. That kid had no acting skills whatsoever. Plus he had the same stupid expression on his face through the entire movie.

I liked seeing Jet Li laugh. And I, too, cannot wait for the next Mummy movie!!!!!

And agreed on the third person speak. Understand why, but a little annoying.

Oh yeah, I was really upset that there were no bloopers at the end. Jackie wasn't the main focus of the movie, but still, there should have been bloopers. T_T

Maybe Shia just didn't want it because he thought he'd be too good for the role. He was doing the Indy Jones movie at the time this came out if I remember correctly. I didn't notice he had the same expression, then again for a main character he didn't have any main reason for us to pay that much attention to his facial expressions throughout the movie.

In regards to the Mummy movie, I like how they're still using the original actors and actresses in the film. Alex has grown up nicely and he looks very close to how the little kid looked in Mummy Returns. Very much looking forward to it.

And yeah, bloopers are always nice. Maybe they'll have 'em on the DVD/Blu-Ray version...who knows.

In regards to Milia v. Sindel, anything could happen there. Milia's hair weapon comes from a parasite while Sindel just does it plain naturally. Heck...she even spins her opponent into the ground w/it in one of her fatalities.

I've tried playing the GGX series a bit, but just couldn't get a feel for it though. Ended up returning it both times I bought it. I did like watching the game being played @ the Evo Tourney last year. There were quite a few good players there. I'm good at many others though including all the SF series including Alpha and EX, KoF, Rival Schools/Project Justice and every VS series game out there including CvS, SvC and both of the MvCs.
