Default Favorite Star Wars Film Poll

I did this on another forum, so I thought I'd see how it turned out on here as well! Pretty Self-Explanatory.

I have to disagree there. While they may not be as loved as the Original Trilogy, they are great films... yes, even Episode One. They served their purpose in answering a lot of questions about the origins behind IV-VI. Plus, to me, Revenge of the Sith was not the best, but one of the best of the series.

Alright, thats one perspective, and i'm not saying your wrong, let me start by saying that. But, to me, the original 3 movies didn't really leave anything unanswered. Or at least not anything that needed to be said. When I watched the original trilogy, I discovered the world of Star Wars through those movies, and anything that wasn't directly explained (which I feel is done far too much, and is insulting), I either figured out for myself, or I kinda just made up in my own mind, which I think is what good writing elicits from people.

That said, I don't think the new trilogy was terrible, I just have a problem with sequels in general. They aren't great movies by any means, but don't think the original 3 needed them.

Well, my final say on this will be that there couldn't be Episodes IV-VI without Episode I-III. Plus, Lucas did have the backstory all along, with changes made over time of course.
