My coworker Monica moved up from Orange County last year. A few people at work make fun of her for saying soda. I've been calling it soda for at least the last 7 years, and my coworkers say I'm weird because we're in Washington, not California. Most the people up here call it pop. And some people can't make up their mind and just say soda pop.
A small group of us had a ridiculous little 2 minute argument over it today. rofl

So which is it? Soda or pop?!?!

Soda.

When I was in school, one of my classmates went to California for a week, and when she came back she said she went to some restaurant and asked for a pop. The girl taking her order looked at her all confused-like and said, "Um... what? ... You mean a soda?"

Aah I think it's funny.

i say soda and i'm from the north. A lot of ppl up there outside the bigger cities call it pop though o.0
