But I need some help.

My computer recently caught a virus (My friend sent me somehting on windows messenger, I clicked it, they told me later. Oi.)

So my computer has been getting it's poor ass kicked ever since.
I've tried desperately to clean it out.

With various things such as:
Prevx (trial usedup)
PcCillian (Trial also used up.)
Spybot - Search and Destroy.

I've also tried researching the processes going on in my computer.
If anyone can give me a hand or something, I'd greatly apprciate it.

Heck I can't even play wow or go on firefox...

He sent you the virus on purpose?

Fuck it, sue his ass, thats illegal. Report it to the police, as well.

If anything, if your PC is screwed, he owes you a brand new one. Get that, then install your HDD from the current one and copy your important files over (as long as the virus file isn't copied then its fine).

Other than that, Spybot should have been able to get it. I'd recommend getting a freeware virus scanner (Avast works quite nicely). I have it scan all incoming files.

Although, my friends have never tried to send me a virus, if they did, they probably wouldn't be friends, would they?

The 0 1 and 2 were created on the 13th of this month, they are MS-Dos batch captures.
I think they may be evil. As well as taht spool.exe.

is that the virus that it sends a link to everyone and if they click it then they get it too? if so i tried everything i could think of to get rid of it

and many more..

i did find that it will redirect you off of MANY anti-virus websites (Hijackthis showed me that)

i finally gave up and redid my comp i need XP Pro instead of Home on it any ways
