 Fetish on TV (Recent Bones Spoilers) I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOooo fucking tired of television belittling or demonizing fetishes. Seriously. There have been too many shows who portray a murderer as into BDSM and then have the main characters blame it on the person's sexual practices. Then, on tonight's Bones, they had a pony play group. It was kinda cool at first. David Boreanaz's conservative Booth was confused and disgusted by it BUT, Emily Deschanel's Tempe/Bones was in defense of them. She had a logical explanation for every emotionally based objection Booth gave her. Then at the end he said that the "crappy sex" fetishists (all fetishists, not just ponies) have can't compare to normal sex. She asks why and he gives a heartfelt monologue about how two people with a connection making love is so great, so anything else is just crap. And BONES, THE SOCIAL SCIENTIST, CONCEDES! Just like that! OMG. Is this the Aughts???? Is it?
